80年代を彷彿とさせるファンク/ディスコにアシッドを散りばめる懐かしくも新しいミックススタイルで各地を沸かしているAndrasがContactに初登場！ 心地よくパーソナルなサウンドをメルボルンから世に送り出してきたモダンディスコの新旗手が、笑顔とぬくもりに溢れる空間を創り上げる。自主レーベルから中心に発表されているオリジナル楽曲では、ニューエイジ/アンビエント/ハウス/アシッドといった要素を絶妙なバランスでまとめあげ、ダンスの身体性とホームリスニングの聞きやすさを両立させているだけに、そのモダンなセンスで紡がれるDJミックスはStudio Xフロアとどんな化学変化を見せるのか！？

一方Contactフロアは、東京随一のパーティ集団Timothy ReallyのメンバーKonのバースデーをフィーチャー。海外の著名DJも利用するなど、世界的な評価を獲得しているオンラインレコードショップOndasを運営するDubbyや、膨大な音楽知識と類いまれなサンプリングセンスで〈Endless Flight〉から極上のダンスチューンを発表しているKZAなど、ゆかりのある面々が集結。快楽度100%の一夜を祝福する。

With the influences of the 80’s disco and funk spiced up with acid, Andras will be making his debut at Contact to showcase his retrospective yet fresh take on the styles. Melbourn’s prominent figure of modern disco is well set to create a warm, life-assuring space where his feel-good, personal sound comes to full bloom. Through his catalogue that strikes a harmonious balance between new age, ambient, house and acid, Andras has reconciled the dynamics of dance music with the intimate accessibility of home listening thanks to his acute sensitivity, which will only arouse the creative curiosity about what his selections will be pulling off at the Studio X floor.
The Contact floor will one of Tokyo’s leading party collective, Timothy Really, to celebrate Kon’s birthday. Stepping up for this memorial night are Dubby from Ondas, music connoisseurs’ go-to online record shop that offers his curated vintage collection, and KZA, whose sample sublime and extensive musical knowledge have blissed out over the disco-induced productions for Endless Flight. It all adds up to sheer excitement and indulgence that are indeed needed to mark this special night.
